Welcome to Water Street Bar & Grille, an exceptional dining venue nestled at 4 Robbins Parkway in the heart of Toms River, NJ. This charming establishment stands out not just for its picturesque waterfront views, but for its vibrant atmosphere that combines great food, refreshing drinks, and live entertainment.

As a food reviewer, I often seek out places that offer more than just a meal; I crave experiences. Water Street Bar & Grille delivered on all fronts during my recent visit. From the moment I stepped in, I was welcomed by the friendly staff, including the ever-enthusiastic server, Hannah, who made delightful recommendations that set the tone for the evening. The menu is a culinary journey of freshness and flair, perfect for families and casual diners alike.

The appetizers are a highlight, particularly the intriguing twist on traditional calamari. Unlike the standard fare served elsewhere, their variety features a Caribbean flair that tantalizes the palate. The Caribbean nachos were another standout, redefining this beloved classic. They promise to elevate your dining experience right from the start!

When it comes to the soups, the Lobster Bisque is a must-try, brimming with succulent lobster and garnished with crunchy croutons, while the New England Clam Chowder received rave reviews from my dining companions. Each spoonful was a comforting reminder of the shore’s culinary treasures.

For the main course, I savored the various options available. Diners raved about the spicy rigatoni vodka, and the classic fish & chips managed to impress with its crispy batter and tender fish. Generous portions make it a great value for the quality, leaving no one at the table disappointed.

No meal is complete without dessert, and the Key Lime Pie here is the cherry on top. Its zesty flavor and perfect crust create a refreshing finale that resonates beautifully with the meal.

Beyond the food, Water Street Bar & Grille boasts an expansive drink menu. With draft beers like Kona Big Wave and Allagash White, plus a carefully curated wine list featuring selections such as Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc and Francis Coppola Merlot, guests can easily find the perfect pairing for their meal.

The inviting outdoor deck is perfect for enjoying sunny days and balmy evenings, making it an ideal spot to unwind. Live music adds a lively charm, creating an enjoyable backdrop for friendly gatherings and celebrations. Our family went to the Water Street Bar & Grille on Saturday for an early Father’s day celebration. This was our first time there, but it won’t be our last. Our server, Hannah was so nice, and made some great recommendations. For starters, our appetizers were the Calamari, but with a twist. Not your same ole, same ole marinara sauce. This fried calamari had a caribbean flare. Everyone loved it. Plus the Caribbean nachos, such a great spin on a classic dish. We had soups, Lobster bisque... loaded with lobster and a great crouton on the top. And our daughter, New England Clam chowder...fantastic. The dinners were wonderful and all very nice size portions for the price. Dessert was great! Especially the Key Lime Pie. We will definitely return, when we can eat out on the deck, to enjoy a wonderful and the sun is finally shining again, down the shore.

Yes, this place deserves all 5 stars. Service was courteous. Food was just amazing. I was expecting it to be good, but this was next level good. We are glad we stopped by after our sailing lessons.

Not far off Garden State Parkway. Was a great meeting point with someone going north on the parkway and us going south. Food was very good. We had spicy rigatoni vodka, fish & chips, and pizza. We ate outside and had a beautiful view of the water. There's a nice bathroom by the outside bar. It was Friday evening so the bar area was crowded but that only affected us when we walked to the bathroom. Inside looked nice too. Parking was across the street where you had to pay to park and it was pretty full. Cars waited for us to lesve. Will stop there again!

Food was very good. Took a while to get our entrees and I suspect the waitress was busy and they had sat for some time before she brought it to us. Will definitely be back to try again. The view of the boats and the water were very nice and everyone was extremely friendly.

Nice place to go to have a good meal and they always have live music multiple days however sitting inside can be difficult as the band plays good songs but it's really loud add some chose to sit outside instead. How are the service was on point in multiple TVs to watch the game, is definitely a recommend for me.

My husband and I had a wonderful evening celebrating our wedding anniversary here. The live music created an amazing vibe, and both the beet & goat cheese salad and the short ribs were absolutely outstanding!

We love this place. Perfect for pulling your boat up. It's our #1 place for dock and dine. Food is consistently good. Staff is friendly as well. Excellent menu. Highly recommend the Baja Bowl and cauliflower buffalo appetizer.

I know it's off-season, but it was so pleasant to walk into a dimly lit, summer-vibe, sports bar where my date and I could talk and be heard and still enjoy phenomenal happy hour prices on food that was quite good. We will absolutely be back, and if you are thinking about it you should go here and try it out. Can recommend.
